The Cap on Kids – also called the Family Cap – denies welfare benefits to children conceived while, or soon after, the family received benefits. The Cap on Kids causes everyone in the family to suffer – including the excluded child’s older siblings. 

The Cap on Kids deprives children of benefits needed to buy basic necessities such as winter clothes. Help us raise awareness about the need to lift the Cap on Kids by donating new winter cap and mittens for our State House event on Wednesday, October 26th. You can also bring donations to the event. Afterward, we will donate the caps and mittens to children in need. All kids’ sizes welcome, from infants to teens!
